SCHOOL ADVOCACY & SUPPORT
ACCOMODATIONS & SPECIAL EDUCATION
Neurodivergent children often face unique challenges in the classroom, and it's important for schools to provide the necessary support and advocacy to help them succeed. From ADHD to Autism, dyslexia to dyspraxia, there are a variety of neurodivergent conditions that can impact a child's learning experience.
IEPs & 504 Plans
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans are legal documents that provide accommodations and support for neurodiverse children in school.
-
IEPs are designed for students who require specialized instruction, and include current performance, goals, services, and supports to meet the child's unique needs
-
504 plans are for those who need accommodations to access the same education as their peers.
Both plans are created with input from parents teachers, and other professionals, and are to meet the unique needs of each child.

See Me Can Help You Through the IEP & 504 Process
Going through the process of getting approval or updating an IEP or 504 plan can be very daunting. It can be stressful for parents and guardians to understand everything that's going on, knowing all of your child's options, and when to push back.

See Me can go through the process with you and even review the IEP or 504 plan. We've been in your shoes and can explain any confusing language, what it should be doing for your child, and provide ideas for goals and accommodations.
