How We Help

What does See Me do?

  • We host a Family/Caregiver Support Meeting twice a month. These meetings provide a safe space for parents/guardians/anyone who needs additional support while caring for neurodiverse children. Our mission for this support group is to connect, share, and support one another on our journey.

See more details about times and locations on our Events page.

  • We have compiled a variety of resources from testing and therapy to county support. Many of us have been through it before, so we’re able to help guide you through getting a neuropsych evaluation, services with the county, working with schools on IEP and 504 plans, and more.

  • See Me hosts and participates in a variety of events throughout the year. From support meetings to our annual beach day to sensory-friendly movies or farm fun outings, we’re here to provide awareness, support, resources, and most of all, a community for neurodiverse families.

See our list of events and check back as we continue to add more.

  • We strive to educate and bring awareness about neurodiversity to our communities and beyond, working towards making our world a more inclusive and welcoming space.

We do this by having booths at community events, advocating for inclusion at playgrounds, and speaking at organizations to provide education and awareness to employees and other groups.

  • Is your company or organization looking to learn more about neurodiversity like ADHD, Autism, and more in the workplace? Contact us to schedule a presentation to increase your knowledge about neurodiversity and how you can be more inclusive in the workplace.

  • Struggling and need additional support? Please reach out. We are here to help. Want to meet for coffee? Playdate? We’d love to see you. Contact us and let’s get together.

  • Being neurodiverse and/or raising a neurodiverse child is stressful enough on its own, and we believe that finding help and resources should not add to the already difficult daily struggles.

If your family is in crisis, whether looking for immediate support or going through a rough time, contact us and we’ll help you get the resources you need. You are not alone. We see you. We’re here for you.

  • Our Impact

“I am so grateful for See Me and the work that they do. They have made a real difference in my life and the life of my family. See Me has helped me to understand my children and how to best support and advocate for them. They have connected me with other families facing similar challenges so that I can learn from their experiences and build a supportive community. Our support group has provided me with access to a wide range of resources and education by local experts. I couldn’t be more grateful to know I have a group of parents that “get it” and want to see my family succeed.”

  • Our Impact

“See Me was the place I found the support that I needed. No amount of the medical training I have could have prepared me for this. I needed to ask someone what to do, who to call, where to go. Oh, I even needed to be reminded that it was ok to say no when I was being pulled in directions that didn’t seem ok for my kid. It’s through See Me that I learnt about getting a County Case Manager for my kid. This would then be my point person in getting all the available resources that my kid needs.

Apart from pointing me in the direction to go, See Me has also been my safe space to just go and say how hard things have been without feeling like I’m failing at this parenting thing. These meetings are true lifelines, and I am grateful I get to go to them, whenever I can.

Thank you See Me, for truly seeing me.”
